  • Private tutoring – reading and mathematics; grades 1 through 12

Personal Note:

I am the youngest member of a very large Catholic family. My parents instilled in me a strong belief in the power of prayer, and that through prayer all things are possible. As a child, the family rosary was part of each evening. As an adult, I love to share time in prayer, especially when visiting with my siblings.

My husband and I have three adult sons. Prior to living in our current location of Batavia, we had lived in several locations throughout the United States. We are active in the local Worldwide Marriage Encounter group. Other current activities and hobbies I have include involvement with the Batavia Plain Dirt Gardeners club and continued studies to develop skills playing the steel pans at Waubonsee Community College.

Personal Note:

I feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to serve at Holy Cross! I am overjoyed to teach our youth about our faith and help them to develop a deeper relationship with our Lord, Mary our Mother and the many great saints we have! I have served as a 2nd grade catechist for about five years at Holy Cross. Through this role and my time at St. Bridget Church as the Director of Religious Education I have been able to develop a deeper understanding of catechesis, evangelization and faith formation and their great importance in the faith lives of children and their parents.I am the second youngest of four and have two wonderful parents who have taught me to be proud of my faith. I love Italy, cooking and trying new cuisines, being outside (especially when it’s sunny) and tea. I am so thankful to God for His goodness to me and I am excited to share my love for Him with the Holy Cross students! I am praying for them always!

We are all volunteers in the library because of our own love of reading books.  Our goal in the library is to have every child’s love of reading intensified by bringing books to life. In bringing books to life, we incorporate geography, technology, math, science, and art.  It is amazing to watch the children grow in their love of reading and comprehension of books they have chosen throughout the year.

Since graduating from Robert Morris College, I have had many years of experience working as an Administrative Assistant at different companies until taking time off to raise our three (3) children. My Catholic faith has always been an important part of my life and I feel blessed to work at Holy Cross Catholic School so I can continue to grow in my faith. Personal Note:

I live in Batavia with my husband Dave and our 4 children. I was raised Catholic but did not have the opportunity to go to Catholic School. I feel so blessed to be able to send my children to Holy Cross and grow every day in their faith in such a loving environment. Hearing them talk about Jesus in their everyday life is a gift beyond measure.

I love coming to work and seeing the children, they continuously put a smile on my face. It is a pleasure to be able to the meet the parents and families as they come into the school office.
